Hotel corridor carpet that takes the night traffic.
The highest-wear path in the building — specified for wheels, acoustics and a night programme so guests are not walking a live install.
Runners, lift lobbies and long city floors
Corridors fail in public, and they fail first.
A tired corridor tells the guest the rooms will be tired too. Luggage wheels track the same line. Room-service trolleys bite the edges. Lift lobbies polish out. And every footfall is a sound path into the rooms on either side.
Hotel corridor carpet is specified for that abuse: denser constructions, patterns that hide tracking, acoustic underlay where the brief needs it, and transitions that do not catch a suitcase. We install in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, usually at night, with guest-safe hoarding so the floor can still be walked in the morning. Pair it with guest-room flooring when a whole wing is turning over.

Corridor carpet questions
Why is corridor carpet specified differently from guest-room carpet?
Corridors take luggage wheels, trolleys and constant foot traffic, and they sit against bedroom walls. The brief is wear, acoustic isolation and a pattern that hides tracking. Rooms can be a softer pile or a tile that swaps; corridors usually cannot.
Can you recarpet a hotel corridor at night?
Yes. Night and early-morning windows are common so guests are not walking a live install. Hoarding, lift access and a clean morning handover are part of the staging plan.
Carpet tile or broadloom in corridors?
Both are used. Broadloom and Axminster give a continuous runner look. Carpet tile lets engineering replace a worn lift lobby or a stained bay without shutting the floor. We will recommend against how you maintain the house.
